Three kinds of background
- Steady textures: white, pink and brown noise, plus a synthetic fan hum. There are no distinct events to follow.
- Synthetic rain: a continuous rain-like texture with no thunder recording.
- Repeating texture: synthetic shushing rises and falls slowly without a voice recording.
- Recorded water: ocean and stream samples retain natural changes within their loops.
Make a choice before pressing Play
The selector above prepares a mix without starting it. Start with one of the five prepared mixes to compare a single sound. You can mix up to three layers; more layers are not a requirement or a safety feature.
Use the sound-specific pages for what each sample contains and where it comes from. The audio credits identify recorded sources and generated sounds.
A player does not replace a sleep setup
Sound is optional. It does not make bedding, a sleep surface or unattended equipment safe. Keep phones, speakers and cables outside the sleep space and follow your child’s clinician’s advice if sleep or hearing concerns arise.
The timer is a convenience, not a monitoring system. It does not detect crying or respond to the baby. Opening a new page pauses the previous player.
